New York Jazz Quartet discography

This is a discography of albums by New York Jazz Quartet.

The Quartet was formed by Roland Hanna in 1974. The original, though short lived line-up was Hanna, Hubert Laws, Ron Carter and Billy Cobham. By the time the group recorded their first album in 1974 Frank Wess had replaced Hubert Laws and Ben Riley had replaced Billy Cobham. By 1975 George Mraz had replaced Ron Carter. From this point onward Hanna, Wess and Mraz were ever present members of the group with the drum seat occupied at times by Ben Riley, Grady Tate and Richard Pratt.
