Fantasy 3200 / 8000 series discography

The main series of 12" LPs released by Fantasy from 1955 onward started with the catalog number Fantasy 3201. Initially albums were only released in mono with sequentially catalog numbers. Stereo versions of albums were released from 1956 onward. Stereo release had 8000 catalog numbers but there seems to be no correlation between the 8000 stereo number and the 3200 mono number used for any particular album until about 1963 when the 8000 number began to correspond with the 3000 number. Mono releases were discontinued in 1967.

The 3200/8000 series of LPs is listed over three pages. This last page lists albums in the sequence 8400 to 8431. Stereo numbers are used for these albums.

In the list below track and musician details are only provided for jazz and related albums. Other albums are listed for completeness sake.
