HatHut "ABC" series discography

The first 20 albums released by HatHut have alphabetic catalog numbers starting with A and ending with a triple LP Y/Z/Z. These albums are listed on this page. Following the Y/Z/Z release catalog numbers have a part numeric, part alphabetic catalog number. The next batch of albums released on HatHut are listed on the HatHut "R-1" series page.

HatHut was founded in 1975 by Werner X. Uehlinger as a means of releasing recordings by Joe McPhee. Primarily an avant garde jazz label in the early years the label has also released a wide range of avant garde classical and new music.
